We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our newly formed Centre for Apprenticeships and Higher Technical Education (HTE) as Data and Systems Administrator.
Higher and Degree Apprenticeships provide a significant area of development and growth for the University of Wolverhampton. This role will support the growing portfolio of activity in terms of apprenticeship provision across all faculties and ensure the quality of our provision is maintained. The Centre works with a wide range of external organisations from public to private sector organisations and across all directorates and Faculties within the University. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that the Faculties are compliant with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) regulations and Ofsted requirements, given the stringent and continuously developing standards, and that provision always remains audit-ready.
Within this role you would be responsible for inputting, amending, and processing data within the Student Management System that will form part of both internal and external reporting. Timely processing of learner orientated tasks aligned to apprenticeship provision and compliance and monitoring requirements will be pivotal within this role. You will work closely with other roles within the Centre and across the University and with Faculties. As the Data and Systems Administrator you will have a responsibility to identify and escalate data quality issues to relevant colleagues within the Centre and across the University, maintaining risk and issue logs related to data and reporting.
You should have a degree or equivalent work experience within an apprenticeship provision, with excellent numeracy, IT (Microsoft excel) and presentation skills. Experience of using SITS and e:vision or similar student management systems is essential for the role together with working within a regulatory framework to meet internal and external audit requirements.
We are looking for an individual with experience of working collaboratively with others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail and good planning and organisational capabilities to meet deadlines, prioritise work and escalate and identify risk.
