**Gleddoch**, one of the most prestigious hotel, golf and spa resorts located in Renfrewshire is recruiting a full time Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator to join our exiting team. Gleddoch is a 70-bedroom hotel, golf course, luxurious spa with food and beverage outlets.

The Wedding & Events Co-ordinator role is based within the hotel and will have responsibility for optimizing the use of event spaces at all times, whilst ensuring revenue is captured. Events Co-ordinator enhance the overall guest experience by effectively handling event bookings from the initial enquiry to the completion of the event.

Salary for this position depending on experience and can be discussed at Interview

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- _To ensure guests expectations are met and/or exceeded_
- _Promote the hotel at every opportunity in a positive and professional manner_
- _Complete all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth running of every event e.g. time schedule, equipment, menus, rooming lists, suppliers, billing instructions etc_
- _Communicate effectively details of all event requirements to relevant departments and managers of the business_
- _Planning, organising, and using a systematic approach in order to complete each task effectively_
- _Filing and any ad-hoc duties as required by Line Manager, Senior Managers and Operations Team_
- _Maintains security by following procedures; be aware of security protocol in case of emergency_
- _Attend and actively contribute to team meetings occasionally - if Line Manager unavailable or requires your presence_
- _Ensure continuously developing personal knowledge_
- _Adhere to company guidelines on all staff policies such as dress code, appearance, personal hygiene etc_

**SPECIFICATIONS**
- An organised, self-motivated individual with an attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with business requirements.
- Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
- Excellent relationship building and rapport building skills.
- Experience of wedding co-ordination would be advantageous but not essential.

**Salary**: £20,319.00-£22,000.00 per year
