**The role **

We are looking for an **IT Service Desk Administrator** to join our growing Service Desk team.

This role forms part of the IT Service Desk team and will take responsibility for **non-technical service desk tasks**.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone from a non-technical background to enter the IT world, in a thriving company that promotes long-term career progression.

The Service Desk forms part of our dedicated internal IT Operations department, whose responsibility is the management and maintenance of the group’s IT infrastructure and systems.

Radius has over 2000 employees spread across multiple offices, so the Service Desk plays an important role in the day-to-day running of our business.

You’ll be based alongside the team in our head office in **Crewe**, which is an excellent working space complete with gym, games room, subsidised café, and break-out areas.

**What would your day to day look like?**

You’ll take responsibility for non-technical IT Service Desk tasks.

That will involve coordination and support for tasks related to IT account creation, procurement, and supplier management. At peak times you might also be asked to assist the Service Desk team by answering inbound calls.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Working with external parties to obtain quotes.
- Raising orders and managing software licences as part of the IT procurement processes.
- Setting up new starter’s accounts.
- Taking ownership of stock control as part of the IT asset management process.
- Managing and working with the Postroom team to deliver IT equipment around the group.

**What do we expect of you?**

Although this is a non-technical role, we’d love to hire someone who has an interest in IT and a passion to build a career in that area.

You’ll bring a positive attitude, a high degree of enthusiasm, and be keen to learn

Here are some of the other skills and qualities we’d like to see:

- Self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analysis ability and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Well organised and able to work well under pressure.

**What can you expect of us?**
- A friendly culture that mirrors our proposition to our customers.
- A fast-growing organisation that defines itself as being agile and innovative
- A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
- A commitment to building a working environment that values inclusivity, innovation, agility, and drive.
- An accessible and approachable management team
- A modern purpose-built space in Crewe that will provide you with an outstanding working environment (complete with onsite gym, cafe, games rooms, and coffee bar style break out areas).

And of course, you will be compensated competitively, with a good range of core benefits.

**Still curious?**

Radius is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to welcome people regardless of age, disability, gender identity, race, faith or belief, sexual orientation or socioeconomic background
- We do not accept speculative agency CVs. Any CV received by Radius will be treated as a gift and not eligible for an agency fee. PSL agencies should only send CVs if authorised to do so by our Talent Team._
