**Head of FP&A, London**

**Role brief**:
The Head of FP&A is responsible for providing Lotus Global Commercial with insightful reporting and analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities. The role will drive the budgeting and forecasting process, and deliver monthly financial and non-financial information across the business.

As Lotus enters a new ten year planning and business cycle, the Finance department needs to transition from being a predominantly accounting focused organisation to supporting forecasting and decison support through analysis. The role will enable a full overview of the business and provide breath of experience through the various decisions required by the newly formed global commercial team

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Finance Business Partners to deliver insight (both financial and operational) to the global commercial first line to provide decision support, recommendations and challenge.
- Production of Monthly and Quarterly results pack for all stakeholders, incorporating financial and operational information and commentary, ensuring focus on key physicals and financials.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Global Commercial and Lotus Tech, for financial, operational and strategic discussions.
- Manage the process and production of the consolidated annual budget and forecasts, including; income statement, balance sheet and cashflow statement.
- Establish a world class FP&A function and team for the newly formed global commercial team.
- Responsible for the forecast model for the Global Commercial team, its maintenance and its output incorporating P&L, BS and CF. This includes consolidation of the various divisions of global commercial.
- Design and deliver the annual business planning cycle (Budget and Forecasts)
- Provide guidance and support to regional directors and HQ function
- Maintain the Business plan model

**Essential**
- CIMA /ACCA
- Financial analysis and planning experience
- Ability to work to fast deadlines, with attention to detail and a keen eye for maximising visual impact.
- Needs to be proactive in driving change.
- Reliable, flexible. Strong influencing skills. Must be able to cope with a dynamic changing environment. Must be alble to get their point across forcibly but diplomatically

**Desirable**
- Strong A Levels / Degree
- Manufacturing or engineering background - not essential as strength of character and good accounting knowledge add more value
- Automotive, Engineering or manufacturing sectors preferable.

**Financial Responsibility**

Ensuring the business hits targets, can identify when business is deviating from target and develop corrective actions with management colleagues.

The business plan will be managed within some very demanding financial targets. This can lead to stressful situations which must be managed and coped with in order that the business is taken forward.

The role is office based, minimum 3 days per week.

Potential to visit HQ in China and regular meetings with team in Amsterdam.
