At West Suffolk Hospital an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trust’s Data Quality Team. We are recruiting for a Data Quality Facilitator who shares our vision and can be guided by our Trust’s core values of First for our patients, staff, and the future.

This role will be 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, located at Quince House, West Suffolk Hospital, with a mix of hybrid working.

The ideal applicant will possess good analytical skills and be able to work within a growing and evolving team. They will be required to support staff, manage AdHoc queries, provide training and complete the day-to-day validation of patient pathways by following National and Local policies and processes.

Undertake data validation and data cleansing

Support with the improvement in data quality

Create data analysis of divisions

Active involvement with project work as requested by the Data Quality Manager

Opportunity to monitor performance indicators within the service

Leading training sessions

Support and development of staff

Managing AdHoc queries

Building relationships with Trust staff

Run and action any Data Quality reports as requested by Data Quality Manager

Providing feedback

Training and support will be provided throughout

**Job summary**:
Support the collection and accurate recording of information along an RTT pathway

Proactively monitor and validate RTT Pathways to ensure patients waiting times are accurately recorded

Maintaining the Trust PTL, ensuring patients are placed on appropriate pathways

Training departments or end users to ensure correct outcomes are chosen where appropriate

**Job responsibilities**:
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the Validation of all RTT Pathways to ensure that RTT rules and local Access policies and guidance have been followed

To ensure that accurate and timely data is recorded on the Patient Administration System against the relevant RTT Pathway

Liaise with the relevant department to facilitate the earlier booking of appointments or tests if patients are booked after their breach date

To increase the Data Quality of patient pathways by feeding back themes to the relevant operational staff so training or system/workflow changes can be implemented where necessary

To work on a 1-1 or group basis to ensure that all necessary staff have the relevant RTT training

To run and action any RTT/Data Quality Reports as given by the Information or Data Quality Manager

Any other duties as identified by the Information or Data Quality Manager
