Quality and Compliance Administrator

**Main purpose of the role**:To administer, monitor and maintain the quality management (QMS) systems and Compliance needs of the business, in conjunction with Trading, Marketing, Suppliers and Customers
**Key Working Relationships**: Marketing & Trading functions, Suppliers, Customers, Sales Personnel, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Sampling and Customer Service.
**Main Responsibilities.**
- Act as the primary Compliance & Quality Administrator for the Company, maintaining the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other Quality Management Systems and conducting Internal Audits throughout the year.
- Maintain all product and supplier data, including product specifications and audits, (supplier, internal and customer), Supplier Audit Questionnaires, 3rd Party certificates such as BRC, BSCI, food contact test reports, Declarations of Conformity, MSDS data
- Reporting any requested customer compliance data including third-party expectations e.g., Sedex/modern slavery, entering data onto retailer technical websites, etc.
- In conjunction with Trading Manager facilitate and manage supplier audits where needed including arranging customer audits of supplier sites, in liaison with Supplier QC teams
- Oversee handling and recording and response to consumer complaints,
- Keep up to date on all aspects of packaging waste, reporting data to compliance scheme companies after compiling of annual packaging waste submission.
- To respond to any packing and labelling issues of incoming products as identified by Goods-In QC and liaise with trading/marketing and supplier to rectify issues.
- Act as the company Responsible Person for MHRA-regulated products and the UK Cosmetic Portal.
- Coordinate monthly warehouse temperature logging and where needed delivery temperatures in conjunction with the Logistics Manager.
**Knowledge & Skills required**:
- Ability to manage records and data accurately
- Experienced of managing audits, compliance, with an understanding of ISO and other quality system requirements would be an advantage but not essential
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with understanding product/packaging legislation
- Competent with excel and outlook with a good understanding of business admin
- Comfortable with working with other team members or on own
- Has good attention to detail with an organised approach

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
