You'll be looking after our client's customers from pre through to post sales. Working in a busy Customer Services department and within a small team of 3, you'll be able to provide a professional service over the phone and ensure that orders are monitored and deliveries are tracked.

As this role relies on building strong Internal and external customer relationships the individual will be a proactive problem solver with a good attention to detail. You will need to be a strong team player whist been self-motivated and conscientious.

Hours: 37.5 hours

8.30 - 4.30 half hour lunch. Some flex on start and finish times.

25 days holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

- To comply with all health and safety guidelines
- Process customer orders in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of data in all IT systems
- Provide order acknowledgements / reacknowledgments to customers within set time frames.
- Respond to customer enquiries efficiently to ensure customers are kept informed
- Coordinate with planning and other internal departments regarding the status of orders.
- Produce despatch notes as required
- Where necessary escalate issues as soon as they arise to minimise the impact on the customer and the business
- Organise transport for despatches in line with customer requirements
- Ensure compliance documentation is correct.
- Raise invoices and send to customers as required
- Continuously review the status of open orders to ensure transportation is booked to meet customer requirements and minimise inventory levels.
- Authorise Invoices for transport costs
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects as required

**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year
