You'll have an important part to play as the Finance Planner providing key financial support and performance analysis for Unipart contracts in the Midlands. **Finance Planner Responsibilities include:**:
- Produce monthly management and client accounts
- Support operational management in driving efficiency and process improvements
- Provide financial functional support to the Unipart site team which includes assistance with purchase orders, invoice queries, approval of expenses, reporting and ad-hoc queries
- Manage the UK invoicing process for JLR consumables
- Provide financial support for projects, new services and processes
- Raise SSRs (Special Service Requests) for client funding for any new activities
- Produce weekly operational reports for internal and client use
- Attend daily / weekly operational meetings with General Manager and operational teams
- Prepare and submit cost information and funding requests to the client
- Provide general finance support e.g. review and approval of purchase orders and expense claims
- Carry out monthly client billing, with variance analysis
- Create the internal Flash report (early assessment of P&L position ahead of month-end results)
- Prepare and report Month End management accounts
- Report on the Cashflow forecast
**Finance Planner Requirements:**
- Qualified accountant or QBE
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Pro-active approach to work prioritisation
- Ability to develop, adapt and improve current and new processes and procedures
- Experience of working closely with operational teams
**Location**: Baginton nr Coventry, West Midlands
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
**Salary**: Up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
