We have a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our client based in Grays. To provide administration support and delivery plan that maximises the utilisation of the company fleet whilst meeting our customers’ expectations.
- Booking and tracking transport for the internal and sub contracted drivers.
- Ensuring loads and transport are efficiently planned.
- Optimise the use of all customers’ delivery windows to help increase vehicle utilisation.
- Responding to customer enquiries, providing quotations and keeping them updated as to the progress of deliveries.
- Ensuring clear and accurate communication with all UK warehouse’s
- Ensure planning works in conjunction with maintenance for different vehicle types.
- Managing priorities to achieve desired results and deadlines.
Key Skills:

- 2 years experience within a similar role
- Strong Administration skills
- Previously worked within a fast pace office environment
- UK geographical and postcodes knowledge
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise own work loads
- Highly organised with the ability to remain focused under pressure
