Transport Administration Assistant

About the Role:
We are looking to recruit an Administrator for our Heathrow site.
As a Transport Administrator, you will be required to assist the Transport Manager with duties to include:
- Scheduling vehicles and drivers to ensure an efficient service to our customers.
- Coordinating the movement of vehicles and allocating drivers to these movements.
- Logging of jobs in the company database
- Collating and sending POD documents to customers
- Liaising with employed and agency drivers to ensure that deliveries are carried out.
- Be able to assist with some of the financial aspects of the business, co-ordinating with the Accounts team on invoices to be paid.
To be successful for the role of the Transport Administrator, you will have had previous experience in or exposure to:
- Administrative experience in an office environment
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and Outlook/Mail
- Some finance related aspects of such a role, i.e. familiar with costing jobs, liaising with Accounts on any information they require
- You will be organised and efficient - this is a fast paced environment.
- Be able to liaise with customers, log job, organise drivers and assist the Transport Manager with all daily tasks required
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
