Job description

TST / Warley Carriers are looking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator to work in our transport office.

Main Duties:

  • Handling incoming customer queries
  • Working within our Transport Department to maintain proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-Shipment Administration including POD
  • Managing the shared mailbox for customer ensuring timely responses
  • Maintaining and updating an accurate Customer data base / files and completing data entry
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Preparing manifests & paperwork for drivers and/or sub-contractors.
  • Inputting data on to our Transport Management System.
  • General Administrative Tasks.

Skills required:

  • The ability to multitask
  • Good IT skills , proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook / Teams).
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail to produce accurate work
  • The ability to work in a fast–paced environment.

Previous transport experience within customer services would be advantageous but not essential
