PMO Projects Officer

**About the Role***
As PMO Projects Officer, you will be supporting the effective management of PMO projects across the Totally Group, the postholder will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are adequately supported, reporting progress and escalating issues in line with our governance principles. The postholder will be a self-starter, capable of working pro-actively and independently to support the effective delivery of our projects and programmes.
Day to day, you’ll be supporting our project leads with using our PM methodology and tools to develop their project proposals and planning for delivery. You’ll support the completion of RAID logs, PIDs, Highlight Reports, project plans and establishing reporting packs that are appropriate to a range of stakeholders.
You’ll have opportunities to deliver smaller projects as the PM, support other PMs on larger programme delivery and influence the development and embedding of our drive to improve our PMO maturity.

**Your Day to Day***
- Ensure the project plans are updated in collaboration with key clients and stakeholders and are distributed throughout the project team in a timely manner.
- Attend meetings as PMO representative and share latest planning or development activity within teams.
- Ensure best practice is followed in project methods.
- Assist the development and update of the project risk registers, ensuring risks are identified and solutions put in place to mitigate risk on a timely basis.
- Take a lead role in ensuring appropriate project risks and their mitigation are noted in the Group Continuous Improvement Log.
- Take a lead in ensuring that project objectives are noted and updated in the Group Objectives for compliance with ISO 27001.
- Support in the analysis, requirements gathering and specification production process required for projects.
- Other duties as necessary.
**Qualification, Experience & Training***
- Able to interpret and present data in PPT, Word, Excel and other tools appropriate for a variety of audiences.
- Strong time management skills and able to meet deadlines under own direction.
- Strong evidence of attention to detail when reviewing documents and collating reports.
- Experience of developing and operating a Data Library which evidences business process, policy, procedures and best practice.
- Experience of working within a PMO
- Relevant experience using a method such as PRINCE 2.
