As an ambitious and high-growth business, we’re looking for an EmployeeCommunications Specialist to support on navigating the challenges around remote working and fast-paced expansion. Working alongside the Marketing team, you will develop platforms, create content, and cultivate communities to ensure that our people are informedand connected, and our business continues to thrive.

**About the role**

Working in our forward-thinking People department, you'll own the development of our internal intranet, manage the navigational principles, and structure, and set the bar on design and content. You'll assist leadership teams in creating company and sectorcommunications, draft internal comms content, and manage the internal comms calendar. You'll create connectivity across the group, bringing people together virtually around events, technical skills, and personal passions, and be a member of integration projectteams supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses.

Please note that due to our desire to regularly work together face-to-face as a team; the successful applicant needs to live within a commutable distance of **our Manchester office as we expect 2 to 3 team meetings there a month**; the restof the time you will work from home.

**About you**

You will have:

- Experience in a marketing and/or communications environment with proven ownership/impact
- Strong copywriting and design skills, and an understanding of optimal use of common collaboration platforms
- A naturally outgoing personality, comfortable initiating conversations at all levels
- A good awareness of the ways inclusion and belonging can be created and damaged
- Analytical skills and the ability to draw insights from data to feed communications choices
Desirable:

- Passionate about the natural environment
- Experience developing an intranet in SharePoint (including basic understanding of UX and UI principles)
- Experience of campaign planning
- Experience of creating meaningful and lasting non-work communities and fostering regular engagement
