The Glasgow Marriott is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Banquet Bar and Drinks Associate / Event Support Expert to join our wonderful team, particularly for Bar and Drinks service. This role will have a start date in April 2025.

**What you’ll do.**

Ensure full product knowledge of all menu items and their service.

Always maintain an elevated service standard within Conference and Banqueting department.

Prepare banquet bar and drinks set up for functions as per Banquet Event Order brief.

Take drinks orders, prepare beverages, and recommend drinks menu items, taking the opportunity to upsell where appropriate.

Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in the Banquet Event Order brief.

Set rooms for the events - preparing tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dining tables, coffee bars, full bar, etc.

Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Respond to and fulfil any special banquet event arrangement and ensure buffet items are consistent and refreshed.

Facilitate banqueting clients and manage every reasonable request to provide wonderful customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
