We're looking for enthusiastic and passionate
Casual Conference and Banqueting Assistants – Bar Staff
to support our
bar and drinks service
within our friendly Conference & Banqueting team. This zero-hours role focuses on delivering exceptional beverage service — from beers and wines to soft drinks and specialty coffees — for a wide variety of events, including conferences, weddings, and gala dinners.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality bar and drinks service for conferences, banquets, and private functions.
  • Set up and maintain banquet bars, coffee stations, and drinks service areas according to event briefs.
  • Take orders, prepare and serve beverages, and provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with wine and cocktail service, including presenting, pouring, and advising guests on pairings.
  • Ensure event spaces are ready for drinks service and maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the event.
  • Communicate special requests, allergies, and preferences related to drinks.
  • Maintain a high standard of service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous hospitality or events experience preferred, ideally with bar or drinks service.
  • Knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and coffee/tea service is a plus.
  • A warm, people-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods during shifts.
