The Glasgow Marriott is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Conference & Banqueting Associate / Event Service Expert to join our wonderful team. Our Event Service Experts are skilled in a wide range of event functions with responsibility for making sure the event is well-executed from start to finish. Whether setting up or breaking down the materials, transporting supplies, taking orders, interacting with guests, or anything in between, the Event Service Expert makes transactions feel like part of the experience.

**What you’ll do.**
- Ensure full product knowledge of all menu items and their service.
- Confidently serve drinks form our Banquet Bar during dinner functions.
- Always maintain an elevated service standard within Conference and Banqueting department.
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in the Banquet Event Order brief.
- Set rooms for the events - preparing tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dining tables, coffee bars, full bar, etc.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Respond to and fulfil any special banquet event arrangement and ensure buffet items are consistent and refreshed.
- During dinner function, the Conference & Banqueting Associate will assist in our banqueting bar and with drinks service.
- Facilitate banqueting clients and manage every reasonable request to provide wonderful customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.

- Previous experience in a similar hospitality setting preferred.
