The Contracts Specialist is primarily responsiblefor supporting the Contract Management team in the effective management of supplier contracts as well as developing their contract management experience

**What you’ll be doing**:
Work with Contract Manager to provide support for critical suppliers and provide direct Contract Management support for other suppliers
Ensure compliance with the DCC licence to minimise disallowed expenditure through price control and adherence to licence conditions
Develop and provide deep insight and contract management of assigned contracts;
Identify opportunities to drive greater value from suppliers and minimise risk;
Ensure that all necessary stakeholders are communicated with and aligned to the actions of a Contract Manager
Create relationships with other Contract Specialists in Commercial to ensure consistency and standardised ways of working and provide cover and support where required

**What we’re looking for**:

- Extensive experience working as a Contract Specialist or similar role including obligation tracking and change control experience
- Strong knowledge and experience of working in complex Commercial environments
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Background involving IT or Telco focused projects
- Experience of working in a multi project, multi-workstream matrix environment
- Appetite for advancing a professional career in Contract Management.
- Ability to identify, analyse, and suggest solutions for commercial problems
