New Job - Senior Reinsurance Contract Specialist
Are you a Senior Wordings Specialist with in-depth understanding of reinsurance concepts and terms?
My client, a leading London Insurer, is looking for a talented individual to join their Global Reinsurance Group as a Senior Wordings Specialist in London.
As a Senior Wordings Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of, and ensuring the accurate and consistent construction, drafting, implementation, and tracking of proprietary manuscript reinsurance contract language for new and renewalreinsurance contracts.
You will also ensure the timely execution of reinsurance agreements and related documents, including coordination of compliance with financial and statutory guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and managing the construction, drafting, preparation, review, and execution of manuscript reinsurance contracts and documents in support of Global Reinsurance
- Ensuring execution of contracts and endorsements within regulatory required timeframes
- Coordinating international compliance efforts for Global Re
- Assisting the Reinsurance Legal Practice Group Attorneys in the review process of various broker, modelling, and servicing documents
We're looking for:

- In-depth understanding of reinsurance concepts and terms, contract preparation, wording and reviews
- A general understanding of direct side insurance underwriting, including components of policies such as General Liability, Commercial Multi-Peril, Excess Casualty, Specialty Lines of Business
- Control of insurance/reinsurance accounting and terminology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of wordings and technical requirements relating to London Market placements of International Excess of Loss and Proportional Treaty Reinsurance business
