**Overview**:
The Contracts and Master Data Management (MDM) group manage and sustain core business services to the Supply & Trading organization. The global Contracts group, based in Houston, London and Singapore, supports contract requirements for the supply and trading business. The Contract Specialist supports contract requirements for Chevron’s Global Supply and Trading Organization.

As part of a team of six, this position will be based in the Europe Contracts Team in London.

**Primary responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- Timely and accurately preparation and review of contracts, understanding and drafting responses to contracts received from customers for our purchase of crude, products and NGL cargoes
- Validate trade deal and General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
- Provide contract, GTC and tender guidance and negotiation support to the trading organization
- Incorporate trade economics, complex physical delivery clauses and legal terms
- Liaise with Traders/Trading Analysts to resolve trade discrepancies on a daily basis
- Liaise and negotiate agreeable contract terms with counterparts, state companies and partners
- Administer all contract work from initiation through to completion
- Review and recommend amendments to customers’ General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) as necessary
- Work closely with various departments such as Trading, Operations, Finance, Legal, Credit and Tax
- Support Natural Gas Europe (NGE) a section of GSAT in S&T, active in UK, Denmark, Germany & Netherlands; negotiate and execute new gas contracts (EFET Master Agreement +Appendices, Gas Supply Agreements & Physical Swap Agreements)
- Work in a fast-moving commercial environment, agreeing priorities and workload in line with business needs and expectations
- Lead/support internal and industry led contract simplification, automation and digital initiatives that enhance efficiency.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years related business experience
- Familiarity with Supply & Trading and/or supply chain
- Knowledge of trading systems e.g.: Endur and/or RightAngle
- Knowledge of Incoterms (2000, 2010 & 2020) and transfer of title and risk
- Experience in reviewing Tender documentation
- Experience of standard trading and/or contracts practices
- Understanding of financial, operational and legal risks
- Ability to efficiently plan, prioritize and adapt to ever changing demands
- Knowledge of contracting standards and gas pipeline infrastructure network
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to efficiently plan, prioritize and adapt to ever changing demands

**Relocation Options**:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
**International Considerations**:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
