A new and exciting opportunity to be a Community Lymphoedema Clinical Educator Lead (CLCEL) to support the training and professional development of all community staff in the management of chronic oedema, lymphoedema and wet legs.

The post holder will work closely with the National Lymphoedema Team and local Lymphoedema Teams along with Head of Services, Primary Care and General Practitioners within the Health Board. This collaboration will facilitate and support the modernisation of services, providing specialist clinical leadership into planning, delivery, development and evaluation. The post holder will work collaboratively across professions and organisations to modernise and redesign local services, supporting the delivery of a Value-Based Lymphoedema health care service for Wales

A new and exciting opportunity to be a Community Lymphoedema Clinical Educator Lead (CLCEL) to support the training and professional development of all community staff in the management of chronic oedema, lymphoedema and wet legs.

The post holder will take the lead to influence and improve oedema management in the community setting, supporting the implementation of evidence-based practice and clinical research. This will be enabled by developing supportive relationships with patients, carers and primary care givers based on sensitivity, responsiveness, honesty, dignity which are all key attributes to improving the patient experience.

The post holder will be involved in the creation and continued monitoring of lymphoedema/chronic oedema standards, protocols and guidelines. They will contribute to the design and implementation of strategic and organisational plans and local and national service developments.
