**The opportunity**:
Responsible for clinical leadership of Nurses, delivery of excellence in quality on a day to day basis, ensuring that clinical governance targets are met and supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with delivery of operational plans.

Penylan House is a part of Linc Care and operates in the not-for-profit sector. The whole building exceeds CIW requirements and a high staff to resident ratio.

**What we need from you**:

- Communication Skills to lead and mentor a team of nursing and care staff. To professionally represent the Home in all dealings with Elders and external contacts. Established and maintain good communication with Elders, relatives, and the multi-disciplinary team. Ensure a clear and concise handover report is provided at the end of each shift.
- Registered Nurse and relevant qualifications. You will be a clinical expert in elderly nursing who can demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and a passion for delivering the highest standards of person centered and palliative care.
- Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience in a care setting - you will be expected to work closely with our residents and be able to identify their specific needs and make balanced, clear, and timely decisions.
- To work as part of the management team to maintain the personal social and health care needs of Elders, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence.
- To ensure that care is delivered consistently and is of a high-quality standard.
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- IT skills - Microsoft Office.
