Mortgage Administrator

Our client would like this role holder to be predominately office based initially, however there is flexibility for a hybrid approach to the working week once established in the role.
Key duties of the Mortgage Administrator will be:
- To ensure that all Mortgage department administration is carried out efficiently and accurately and in compliance with the department’s procedures.
- To accurately input customer details into the systems and tracking documents.
- To proactively follow up with solicitors, brokers etc to request additional information where required.
- To communicate with the customers, both current and prospective in a professional way and provide required information in a timely and appropriate format.
- To undertake all aspects of mortgage administration relating to new, existing and redeemed mortgages in accordance with MCOB for regulated loans.
- To actively suggest process improvements to ensure the continued productivity and quality and service provided by the team.
- To liaise with all departments where required ensuring that information is provided swiftly and accurately.
- To support the Head of Lending to produce and conduct data analysis where required
- To work with and support the Senior Underwriter on the administration regarding the retention process.
