The main responsibilities of the Mortgage Administrator will include: - General office administration - Accurately inputting data into bespoke data management systems and Excel - Communicating with the Society’s customers, both current and prospective, and providing required information in a timely and appropriate format - Undertaking all aspects of mortgage administration relating to new, existing and redeemed mortgages in accordance with MCOB for regulated loans - Proactively following up with solicitors, brokers etc to request additional information where required - Previous experience of working in an administrative capacity within an office environment - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) - Excellent attention to detail - The ability to work as part of a team and liaise with various other departments within the business. - A can-do attitude and active team player prepared to “go the extra mile” - The ability to react quickly, calmly and professionally in a busy office About Us: The Buckinghamshire Building Society was founded in 1907 and as a Member owned Mutual, with no shareholders, our emphasis is firmly on providing value to existing and new Members through competitive savings and mortgage products.
