The Buckinghamshire Building Society is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join its busy mortgage department. In this challenging and varied role, you will work closely with the head of mortgage sales, responsible for the administration of relevantprocesses/procedures to administer and launch mortgage products. The main responsibilities of the Mortgage Product Analyst will include: - The administration of relevant processes/procedures to administer and launch mortgage products. - Reviewing and researching the market to compare the Society’s offering with competitors offering. - Ensuring that all product information is kept up to date on the website, Broker On-Line, Provision and the sourcing engines including criteria hubs. - Proactively identifying and analysing changes in the market and reporting any concerns to the Head of Mortgage Sales to ensure that timely action can be taken should the Society’s products become less favourable. - Responsibility for testing and launching of new products and ensuring all governance is adhered to. - Challenging and reviewing the product process to ensure the Society is able to adapt to changes quickly. - Previous experience gained within a financial services environment - including product research - Experience with working with third party souring and criteria systems - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) and (Excel) - Excellent attention to detail - The ability to multitask, manage and prioritise own workloads while under pressure - The ability to work as part of a team and liaise with various other departments within the business - Knowledge of MCoBs, MCD and general regulatory requirements. - Capability to react quickly, calmly and professionally in a busy office About Us: The Buckinghamshire Building Society was founded in 1907 and as a Member owned Mutual, with no shareholders, our emphasis is firmly on providing value to existing and new Members through competitive savings and mortgage products.
