**Food Purchasing Assistant**

**Sunrise House,Ninth Avenue,Burton-on-Trent,DE143JZ**

**Role purpose**:
As Food Purchasing Admin Assistant you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that pricing information is accurately received and inputted onto our various systems in a timely manner, and to provide tender support to the category managers.

This role is Burton based 2-3 days a week

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance of all purchasing records and spreadsheets to ensure a central information record and all procurement systems are up to date.
- Assisting in the preparation of procurement and tender documents from beginning to finalised presentations
- Implementation of price changes from suppliers of all food across the group
- Maintenance of accurate price data on Aurora, EDI and standard costing systems
- Responsibility for the system set-up of new food products in all supply chains with Central Database
- Providing category buyers with category dashboards/information in readiness for quarterly reviews and supplier meetings

**About You**:

- Great attention to detail and a methodical approach with the ability to work within the Food category team and cross-functionally across Greene King Business Units (Central Database, Marketing, Supply Chain, food development, Food technical and Finance).
- You will be data focused and analytical, with a high level of competency using excel.
