**Senior Business Development Manager - Hybrid/Public Cloud/ Security Provider**
My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Business Development Executive to their established team.
The New Business and Channel Development Executive role is split into 2 key elements the first element is the management and development of direct New Business for product and services, and the second element is the creation of new routes to market via channel-basedpartnerships with specialist service providers and ISV's. Both will require a creative approach to ensure we capture market share and maintain the key customer(s) growth across thieir portfolio.
**Senior Business Development Manager**
- Management of the full spectrum of a sales cycle; from need creation to business justification
- Work closely with their strategic and target vendors and partners to generate opportunity. Key vendors include but aren't limited to IBM, DELL, Veeam, Alert Logic, and Equinix. Key ISV alignments also include FiServ, Finastra, Infor and HCL.
- Continually striving to reach different areas of the business, understand the customers strategic intent and underpin their trajectory with company services
- Create and maintain a detailed client sales strategic plan that will generate, manage, and close substantial new business wins
- Maintain a three times target pipeline throughout the fiscal year
- Engage and promote our services with key partners.
- Constantly endeavour to generate new opportunities and find new ways to market
- Assist and support marketing endeavours
- Project and maintain a professional and competent image of the Business
- Secure new logo customers and grow company market share
- Deliver against all key commission plan targets (Margin/order intake/renewals where applicable)
- Develop client account maps and sales plans
- Accuracy of monthly forecast commitment
**Senior Business Development Manager**
- Proven sales experience within Enterprise client's delivering new or transformation services on Power architectures.
- Experience in positioning and selling high end Public Cloud solutions in Azure for Enterprise customers
- A comprehensive understanding and capability in Hybrid Cloud solution selling including multi-cloud management and containerisation strategies.
- Ability to identify, articulate and promote how professional services can help a client in order to achieve their business objectives
- Ability to question effectively whilst gaining an understanding of the prospect/clients' business needs
- Be able to demonstrate and articulate a solid understanding of the dynamics of the market including market trends, industry issues and key political forces
- Understand the environment in which a prospect/client operates and maintain awareness of all activity within it
- Capable of presenting business & technology roadmaps which demonstrate how a client can drive maximum value from their technology for competitive advantage
- Demonstrate the necessary communication and interpersonal skills to interact with and present to clients at every level
- Establish consistent and thorough pipeline management
- Capable of time management, highly organised and capable of prioritising workload based on the clients' expectations
- Willingness to research and self-study to keep skills relevant
- Self-motivated, flexible in approach, enthusiastic team player
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with customers
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability, results driven
- Methodical in approach with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail.
