**This position is specifically for a Male Children Worker, ensuring sensitive and dignified care in line with the Equality Act 2010.**

**Why work with us?**
At CrossReach, we believe every child deserves joy, adventure, and tailored support. As a Male Children Worker, you will be part of a strong, committed team providing short breaks that enable children and young people to thrive in both our residential setting and the community.

**What you will do**:

Act as a keyworker, building strong relationships with children, families, and carers.
Promote independence and social inclusion, helping children access their local community and enjoy new experiences.
Work in partnership with families, professionals, and colleagues to provide the best possible care.

**What we are looking for**:
A caring, compassionate, and patient nature.
Experience working with children, young people, or in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge or understanding of physical and learning disabilities is beneficial.
A commitment to CrossReach’s values and our Christian ethos.
The ability to work flexibly on a shift pattern.

**What we offer**:
Ongoing training and development, including support to achieve an SVQ3 in Social Services (Children & Young People) if you don’t already have it.
A supportive team environment where your work is valued and appreciated.
The chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families.

This role requires membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and relevant vetting checks.
