A new opportunity has become available for Out of Hours Receptionists to join our busy team. This is an exciting and challenging role; do you have the passion to work in a busy Out of Hours service? Are you able to juggle multiple tasks and complete whatever is most pressing? We are looking for caring and compassionate receptionists to work evenings and weekends, including bank holidays. If so, we want to hear from you. The post holders will need to have good IT skills and be confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel. This is a patient facing role. The successful applicants should have reception/administration experience with good organisational skills. Training on the specific computer systems used will be given. Good communication skills are essential when dealing with patients both in person and via the telephone. A professional and sensitive manner should always be maintained. The post holder will be required to liaise with patients and to demonstrate courtesy, discretion, and confidentiality at all times. Duties will include booking patients into service, taking telephone enquiries, monitoring the booked 111 appointments and general administrative support for the GPs.
