About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual who will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the Activity Buddy Programme in North Northamptonshire, by engaging with and supporting residents to attend Health, Wellbeing and Leisure Services with other ‘Buddy’ members; reducing some of the common barriers, restrictions and fears people may have when attending activity sessions on their own.
Post holder must be willing to travel across North Northamptonshire.
This is a 16 hour part-time contract and fixed term project to 31st March 2027.
Interviews will be held on Friday 14 March 2025
What will you be doing?
The post-holder will be responsible for engaging with, recruiting, managing and matching scheme members with other members; utilising place-based working, community settings and locality areas throughout North Northamptonshire. Matching is based on need, locality, availability and activity preference.
Actively promoting and marketing the scheme to ensure that participants are made aware of these opportunities and can make informed choices to be and stay active.
