Activities & Events Coordinator – Summer Camp, York, UK EF Education First seeks an energetic and organized individual to join our team as Activities & Events Coordinator for the summer 2024 program. The role is full‑time, fixed‑term, 8–10 weeks during June, July and August. EF’s mission is to open the world through education. At EF York we welcome students from around the globe to participate in language learning and cultural exchange and provide a world‑class summer experience. Your Responsibilities Work with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, supporting the activity programme in your school. Be directly involved in shaping students’ experiences by planning and delivering interactive games for small groups and large wow events for over 600 students. Support a team of local and international leaders to ensure all activities give students a sense of local culture while being safe and unforgettable fun. On a daily basis liaise with local suppliers and motivate and shape a team of leaders to create the summer of a lifetime for every student. No two days will be the same; you will go from scheduling and administrative tasks to jumping on stage at the disco and fire up the crowd. Your Qualifications Strong leadership skills with some management/team leading experience required. Commitment to the highest level of customer service. Sociable and fun disposition with the ability to motivate and energise others. Financial and business acumen. English fluency and excellent communication skills. Able to work independently.
