Founded in 2008, Vision IFA is a Family business which helps people understand their financial position and strives to guide them to achieve their financial goals. The company was initially founded to assist teachers with their retirement but has grown to work with many clients and businesses.
**Who works at Vision?**
A husband-and-wife team, David & Alana, are both financial advisors. They love spending time with their son, Felix, and enjoy walking, pubs, live music & rugby.
Amanda, Administrator and Personal Assistant. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and walking her two Border Terrier dogs, Douglas and Lottie.
Kevin, Founder, Head of operations & compliance. Kevin is a die-hard Huddersfield town fan with a passion for craft beer.
**How has the role come about?**
Over the last couple of years, the business has seen growth and is looking to bring someone on board that will take ownership of our client onboarding and report construction. The role will also involve administration and duties of a personal assistant. The main focus of the role, is to free up adviser time, so that they can spend more time with existing and new clients.
**Personal Qualities**
This real team player role will be central to a team of advisors requiring you to be organised, flexible and adaptable. Being reactive is crucial as the work required will be ever-changing, often coming from all directions. Being proactive is equally as important. Being a personal assistant to the advisors, they want someone who can work with them and support them in the true sense, often knowing what is needed before being asked or told.
Harnessing software effectively is essential as we constantly seek to improve efficiency and customer service through technology.
As the role will be mainly home-based, we are looking for an individual who is a self-starter.
Someone who can remain calm when under pressure, present a consistent professional image of the business and have the customer’s best intentions at heart is imperative.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of the software that helps run the business, such as Monday, True Potential & Microsoft Office.
- Assisting with Suitability Report/Annual Review writing
- Implementing and maintaining any Suitability report templates
- Working with existing company processes and being able to adapt them to improve efficiency.
- Maintaining, documenting and implementing new office processes as appropriate
- Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and management
- Working with the IFAs to identify new business opportunities within the existing client bank
- Liaising with the advisers throughout the advice process
- Liaising with customers to book appointments and gather information
- Dealing with platforms and product providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments
- Preparation and completion of all forms and necessary paperwork to go with recommendations and submission of business
- Attending monthly team meetings
- Prioritising workload effectively and allocating work to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the business
- Attending courses when required
- Managing and organising diaries
- Allocating commissions
- Filing and postage
**Key Skills & Experience**
- Previous Financial Services experience necessary.
- (Ideally) Experience using True Potential back-office systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Strong Report Writing Skills
- Superb IT Skills, including MS Office
- Minimum GCSE B grade in English and Maths
**What do we offer?**
- Part-time Role - around 24 hours per week. Hours between 9am-5pm Monday and Friday.
- Working from home. Although for the first month you will be expected to work from an office a couple of days a week to receive adequate training. You must be within a commutable distance of the Wakefield area for monthly team meetings.
- £20,000 - £28,000 per annum (Pro Rata) - negotiable dependent on experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: £12,000.00-£16,800.00 per year
