**About the Role**:
**Base Location**: Glasgow, Perth, Reading or Havant

We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital SSE of the future and meeting the needs of our customers in a different way. Joining the Lean and Agile Practice team, you will be leading the way in SSE's digital transformation.
- A servant leader and change agent responsible for coaching senior IT leaders and delivery teams in business agility. Developing an 'agile' mind-set in SSE to instil agile principles, behaviours, values and approaches.
- Provide quality hands-on support to all employees, collaborating with people across widely varying levels and roles, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile as well as overall company growth and improvement.
- Incorporate practical next steps to improve the effectiveness of various ways of working cross-functionally.
- Support Product Owners, Delivery Leads and delivery teams enabling them to be productive, to continually improve and to be advocates of agility.
- Working alongside continuous improvement colleagues, enable continuous evolution of ways of working by removing impediments and enabling outcomes through coaching.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Extensive Experience as an Agile Coach and delivering Customer facing or platform capabilities and relevant practitioner qualification.
- Ability to provide information in a logical and consistent manner with an understanding and ability to work in technically or organisationally complex organisations, whilst driving broader business outcomes.
- Strong experience in acting as a change agent for adoption of Agile practices across technology and business.
- Focus on customer service and experience, anticipating needs with demonstrable coaching and mediation skills, and the ability to influence ways of working at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong working knowledge of multiple agile frameworks, tools and methodologies as well as how various techniques can be applied practically.
