**Role Title**:Report Writer

**Location**:Remote - Northwest based around Preston, Bolton and Blackpool area with view to moving to office in near future

**Salary Range**:£20,500 plus bonuses

**Job description**

We’re looking to recruit top-quality third-party capture and credit hire claims handlers or people who have experience giving evidence in court (including retired Police Officers and Solicitors), to join our exciting and fast-growing business.

You will be responsible for investigating car and van rental hire rates charged to insurance companies, using our award-winning online system, providing evidence back to support your decision and the possibility of attending court to provide evidence on more complex cases. You will also be investigating rental costs in the market using our award-winning processes to report back on an eclectic mix of vehicle types, providing the evidence back to support your decision. Training and support will be given on your path to competence.

**Essential Skills / Knowledge**
- Knowledge of the motor insurance market
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills are essential
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to targets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- A can-do, positive mentality

**Preferred Skills / Knowledge**
- Experience gained within the Basic Hire Rate market or Credit Hire
- Experience of giving evidence in court
- Experience of the car rental industry

**Salary**: Up to £22,000.00 per year
