Junior SEO Executive

**The Role**

Viddyoze is seeking a passionate Junior SEO Executive to join our growing SEO team.

**This is a Junior role, perfect for a motivated individual looking to kickstart their career in SEO whilst receiving detailed mentorship on how to grow website traffic and more.**

Day-to-day, you’ll be working on all key areas of SEO: on-page, off-page, and technical. This includes keyword research, content creation, link building, plus analyzing SERPs and competing websites.

Alongside the ins and outs of SEO, you’ll gain hands-on experience in wider website management and marketing strategy. Such as building sales funnels, page design and UX, speed optimisation, mobile optimisation, and lead attribution.

**Who We’re Looking For**

Ideally, either a recent graduate in a field related to digital marketing OR someone with around 1-2 years of experience in SEO.

You need to have excellent written English skills and be confident with content writing, editing, and providing feedback on written works to our team of freelance writers. **This is super important.**

You also need to have a passion for websites, as well as, a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Knowledge and understanding of video marketing would be advantageous. As would any knowledge of search engine algorithms.

Viddyoze has recently been named one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the North of the UK. With this continued growth we have an ever-expanding volume of data and as such we’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join the team to help make sense of it.

This is a full-time position and can be office-based at our HQ in Preston, remote (UK based), or a mix of the two. We’re flexible.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Creating fully search-engine-optimised content briefs to give to writers. As well, as reviewing their content and providing editorial feedback
- Uploading and styling posts and pages using our Wordpress CMS
- Running technical audits on our website and fixing any highlighted errors
- Running SEO audits and analysing competing websites to identify ranking opportunities
- Analysing first-party data and reporting on the website’s monthly performance

**Preferred Skills & Experience**:

- 1 year or more experience in an SEO role, or a recent graduate in a marketing-related field
- Experience working with tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SurferSEO and Ahrefs
- Experience with writing lengths around 2,000 - 3,000 words
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
