Temporary Events Manager

Looking for a new challenge in your events management career?
You will join as the newest Temporary Events Coordinator/Manager at a well-known agency in South Oxfordshire to assist the team with several upcoming events. This role will begin on an ongoing basis until mid-July, but has the capacity to be extended orbecome permanent - dependent on performance and business requirements.
**Temporary Events Manager Responsibilities**
As the Temporary Events Manager some of your duties will include:
- Identifying venues
- Liaising with a variety of stakeholders
- Managing the logistics of various events
- Preparing events materials
- Working with internal stakeholders to execute event briefs
- Providing events administration support
- Being on site on days of events to ensure everything runs smoothly

**Temporary Events Manager Experience**
The role will be fast paced and there are likely to be last minute changes. You must therefore be content to work in a proactive and reactive fashion, staying calm under pressure.
There will be lots of logístical arrangements to facilitate, so you will need to be flexible, resilient, well versed in travel planning and particularly unflustered in high-pressure situationsYou will be a fast learner and be able to work initiatively.
You must have excellent IT skills, in particular, Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
You’ll need to be enthusiastic, dedicated and be able to prioritise. In return you’ll be able to gain experience in a dynamic, forward thinking and interesting agency setting.
**Location**
Our client is based in South Oxfordshire in bright open-plan offices with onsite parking. It is not possible to access the office via public transport therefore, you must be able to drive.
