Working Hrs - 37.5 hrs per week
Salary Bracket - £19,000 - £24,000 Dependant on skills and experience
25 days annual leave + additional day off for birthday + Bank Holidays + long service days
Totus Engineering are a leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor operating throughout the Southwest. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in the Plymouth Office.
Joining our team here at Totus Engineering, no two days are the same. This full-time role will consist of providing reactive and proactive administrative support as required to a large team. This requires excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, time management, polite telephone manner and problem-solving skills.
**Our role of Office Administrator consists of, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities**:
- Working closely with contract managers to produce a variety of documents such as programmes, subcontract orders, site health and safety documentation etc.
- Assistance in the preparation of presentation documents, qualitative and tender submission documentation for issuing to clients and follow-up correspondence.
- Updating internal and external systems regularly to keep information accurate and current, archiving relevant superseded information securely.
- Ensuring document control procedures are being maintained and managed, including downloading/uploading documentation and drawings from digital platforms.
- Producing Operation and Maintenance manuals for projects nearing completion, collating relevant certificates, drawings, and any other required information.
- Day to day office administration duties, including booking travel and accommodation when required, booking training courses, answering telephone calls, organising and filing paperwork.
- Provide first aid and fire marshal roles within the office (training provided).

- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel, Outlook
- Presentable with a good work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast pace ever changing administrative environment, managing multiple tasks at once
**Non-essential but desirable**:
- Previous admin experience within the construction industry
- Ability to produce programmes using Microsoft Projects/ PowerProject to create programmes (training can be provided)
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
