**Anglo Pacific Internationa**l is looking for a **Shipping Administrator** on full time basis to join their busy baggage sales department at our Wembley office. The ideal baggage coordinator will have some experience in Freight or Shipping industries. **JOB PURPOSE**:
To assist running and management of the Shipping and forwarding Department.

**Responsibilities**
- To provide advice and logistics on worldwide destinations for shipping lines, NVOCC and RoRo routes.
- Assist with the production of shipping documents protecting the legal responsibilities of the company with experience on Destin8 & CNS.
- Ensuring all pre port checks and responsibilities are discharged including VGM Declarations Completing export declarations with NES.
- To liaise between clients, agents, warehouse staff to ensure adequate notice is given to the warehouse staff to provide access to lots and transport to and from residence.
- To co-ordinate deep-sea consolidations for our many worldwide groupage destinations To make appropriate and timely claims for rebates.
- To ensure that all invoices from overseas agents/shipping lines/other relevant suppliers are approved and passed to the Accounts Department in a timely manner.
- To ensure that export documentation is processed and dispatched in a timely fashion with ISF declarations filed in line with the FMC.
- To respond to rate requests from agents within 24 hours.
- To notify IT Manager of changes/modifications to be made to agents/shipping supplier records etc.
- To liaise with all departments on container/vehicle schedules and take advantage of part load opportunities
- To liaise with suppliers/shipping lines and or hauliers and 'buy in' services as required
- To liaise with the various sales departments to ensure that all documentation is understood and instructions are carried out
- To notify the General Manager of complaints, claims and problems/poor supplier performance which could adversely affect the standards of service provided
- To keep abreast of any industry, environmental and/or quality developments which may affect the services offered by Anglo Pacific
- To comply with Health and Safety legislation and the Health and Safety Policy
- To comply with the Environmental Policy
- To maintain confidentiality at all times
- To represent the Company as deemed appropriate
- Any other duties as may be requested by the Company SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE &
**EXPERIENCE**:

- First class communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Adaptable to the various tasks required
- A proactive and optimistic attitude
- Well presented, reliable and punctual
- Experience in a high volume Admin, Invoicing or Accounts role would be advantageous
