**About the role**
- Reporting to the Student Support Coordinator, as a member of the London Student Support Team, the post holder will support the delivery of a portfolio of student activities and contribute to an outstanding student experience. Seamless access to a range of information, advice & guidance services will be delivered through a single point of contact service model support by CRM and E:Vision systems. The postholder will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive advice, support and information service for all London students. They will support specific aspects of the Student Engagement portfolio.**The day to day**:
- To support the Student Support Coordinator, working closely with counterpart colleagues from the Student Engagement Team, on implementation of London support model around Student Casework, Student Conduct, Specialist Student Support & Student Attendance and Engagement.
- To assist in the review of all Knowledge Based Articles (KBA’s) regularly to ensure all London students are receiving up to date and accurate information.
- To support with enrolment & induction for all new students.
- To facilitate activities throughout the academic year including new university initiatives based on University Strategy around Student Experience.
- To support student retention and complete follow ups around Attendance & Engagement.
- To support the London Lead for visa compliance audits led by UKVI or the University Visa Compliance Team by ensuring student records are accurate and up to date.
**About you**
- Previous experience in the higher education sector in a similar or related position(s) or relevant experience in another sector, in either case demonstrating excellent admin and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to be proactive and take ownership.
- Knowledge of IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to deal confidently and efficiently with junior and senior staff.
- Strong judgment and practical problem-solving skills under time constraints.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines with mínimal supervision.
