**Control Business Partner**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Control Business Partner within Global Technology Infrastructure Service (GTIS), you will be supporting the Risk and Control teams. You will be providing business-unit aligned coverage of the quantification and delivery of a highly visible, business focused and pragmatic Technology Risk and Regulatory Management agenda. You will be responsible for establishing effective engagement with key stakeholders within the Technology, and within relevant Business Units as well as stakeholders external to Technology such as Operational Risk, Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory Relations.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Overseeing and advising on technology risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation and response, and risk reporting across the relevant teams within GTIS
- Operating within risk appetite and in compliance with Barclays Control Framework
- Providing input and reviewing on adherence and completion of risk assessments including but not limited to Risk and Control Assessments (RCSA), and Control Environment
- Controlling oversight for major change initiatives where required
- Provisioning of Controls insight to control environment data and commentary
- Undertaking the gap analysis and delivering changes in line with Barclays Control Framework (BCF) Standards
- Overseeing and advising on matter related to Operational risk events and resulting issues, actions for management visibility and awareness

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience with infrastructure development, build and release tools and practices.
- Experience in Technology Risk and Control, with demonstrable skills to understand and manage Risk, Compliance, Governance, Control and Regulatory practices
- Performing Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) or related assessment processes
- Knowledge of enterprise Risk Management practices, internal control, fraud deterrence frameworks

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working within a Controls function and being familiar with Risk and Control terminology and processes
- Analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and control data to draw conclusions and learnings
- Ability to think analytically and conceptually with a sound technical background in IT Operations and IT Change with understanding of Cyber controls

**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
