**Tech Controls Direct Business Partner (DBP)**
**Radbroke, Knutsford**

As a Barclays Tech Controls Direct Business Partner (DBP) your Key role within Barclays first line of defense partnering with colleagues and stakeholders to sustain and strengthen the control environment. This includes providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focused interventions to fix and/or simplify controls and assurance to ensure that customer needs are met by the process every time, so that BX is able to meet its regulatory & compliance commitments.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you**
**be doing?**:

- Ensuring relevant stakeholder groups manage their risk profile in line with/ adherence to the Barclays Control Framework
- Ensuring an appropriate and effective governance framework is in place
- Having a sightline across risk & control events, indicators and control themes
- Defining and delivering Control Assurance activity
- Providing oversight of control remediation, leaning in with SME knowledge
- You will be in charge of quality assure delivered risk remediation
- Supporting Risk assessment processes, lead risk regular risk assessment reviews

**What we’re looking for**:

- Broad experience in Operational Risk and Controls, ideally for Technology
- Proven ability to demonstrate experience of coordinating and supporting Stakeholders
- Experience of working on the design and implementation of controls improvement initiatives
- Proven practical experience of Risk and Control governance activities including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)

- Broad experience of working with other Control and three lines of defense teams to share ideas, best practices and ensure consistency of experience across Businesses and Risks
- Proven ability to prioritize and work under pressure, delivering to tight deadlines and multiple demands across a ‘matrix’ organization
- You can be Inquisitive with the ability to challenges data
- You are collaborative and able to share best practice at all levels

**Where will you be working?**
Radbroke, Knutsford

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command Centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
