**Direct Control Business Partner**
**Radbroke or Glasgow**

As a Barclays Direct Control Business Partner, you will assist the Chief Technology Office (CTO)/Group CIO Controls Business Partner Director, leading the day to day controls partnership function. The Technology CTO Controls Business Partner function is responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective governance framework across Technology CTO and provide technical expertise across the overall technology risk framework focusing on Software Development and Enterprise Architecture.

**Hybrid Working**
We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Assisting the Chief Technology Office (CTO) technical controls function across the different areas
- Developing knowledge of the processes involved across the change functions
- Working closely with the Technology Horizontal Governance team to understand emerging themes
- Identification and escalation of risk issues within the organization
- Supporting Innovation function and specific initiatives across different risk areas
- Assisting the Technology teams with Regulatory, Compliance and Internal Audit/External Audit reviews

**What we’re looking for**:

- You have a broad technology background, preferably as a developer or systems architect
- You have an excellent knowledge of Agile/SDLC
- Broad knowledge of risk and control processes (ideally within a Technology environment)
- You are deeply analytical, able to review complex technical problem areas without previous experience

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- CISA certification would be beneficial given the technical control focus of the role
- Broad knowledge of Technology Innovation or FinTech Industry
- You have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as PPT, Excel and Teams Integration to assist in knowledge base development
- You are an excellent communicator and would be confident in dealing with senior stakeholders

**Where will you be working?**
Radbroke

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command Centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. Glasgow
