The portfolio group are currently working on behalf of our client, a professional services company business based in Central London who are looking for a well-seasoned Business Development Representative to join their team.

**As the business development representative you will**:
- Provide engaging and articulate information about the businesses value proposition to potential clients via a variety of digital and in-person methods
- Maintain well-organised, up-to-date, and accurate sales information and activity reports in the CRM system
- Efficient management of the sales pipeline
- Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals, and the presentation of service offerings, via webinars or face-to-face meetings
- Represent the business at corporate events or sales meetings independently or with colleagues
- Meet personal targets and work towards business sales goals and profitability
- Be responsible for upselling our existing clients additional services and ensuring renewal of our current clients
**Competencies**
- Highly developed communication skills
- Customer service oriented with a positive, well-motivated attitude
- Conscientious, hard-working, and driven to improve sales activity performance
- Good organisational and time management skills with the flexibility to reprioritise as necessary
- Fluent in spoken and written English

**Knowledge and Skills**
- 1-2 years' proven experience in prospecting and lead generation and experience in business services
- Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement and ability to successfully manage your own quota
- Experience of working collaboratively in a combined sales & marketing team
- Successful history of net new business sales and managing complex larger deals
- A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
