Our Riding School Team is looking to employ a Corporate Trainee Yard Assistant based at based at Cardiff Riding school to contribute to our Service helping us to look after our horses and help clients in and out of lessons.

**About the job**
In this Corporate Trainee Yard Assistant role, you will support our service and will learn to: care for the welfare of our horses; improve knowledge of animal needs including compassion, leadership skills, sick nursing, and treatments; Work in a team and independently; learning responsibility, thinking on your feet, and taking direction while developing your communication skills and learning to deal with the public in a safe environment.

This role requires fitness to work with horses in a riding school environment (stables, exercise yards, fields) both indoors and outdoors across different terrains in all weathers.

Full training and equipment will be provided by our Team who will help and encourage you to develop in the role and you will be encouraged to take on a variety of duties. You will receive supervision and on the job training and will have a named mentor to support you to deliver an efficient and effective service in a positive, customer-focused manner.

The Corporate Apprentice & Trainee Scheme also provides opportunities to enhance your transferrable skills to help support your career progression.
