**About The Service**

Our Wellbeing Team is looking to employ 2x Corporate Trainee Community Inclusion Assistant based at Fairwater Hub, Doyle Ave, Cardiff CF5 3HU and Butetown Pavilion, Dumballs Road, Cardiff CF10 5FE to contribute to our Service helping us to deliver events, activities and groups that are open to all citizens of Cardiff. The aim is to reduce social isolation and enable citizens to become more engaged in their communities.

**About the job**
In this **Corporate Trainee** role, you will learn to:
Support our service and will learn to work as part of a team to deliver a first class service. You will develop general office administration skills for example, using word and excel, answering telephones, using IT daily, helping customers with their enquiries and developing excellent customer service skills. You will assist in setting up and the running of community events and groups.

To support your development, you will receive on the job training and supervision to help you deliver an efficient and effective service in a positive and customer focussed manner. You will also be supported by a named mentor to who will encourage you to develop a range of transferrable skills to support your career progression.

As a **Corporate Trainee**, you will gain valuable experience working for Cardiff - the largest Council in Wales. Although we cannot guarantee that you will go on to secure a further role at the end of the initial contract, you will be supported and encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities available within our organisation to help progress your career.

This post is temporary for **6** **months** if worked full time, or longer if worked part time. Most roles are based on a 37-hour week though many roles can be worked on a part time basis.
