We are looking for a Control Room Operative to join us at our client site in London. Our client is one of the largest pedestrianised communities around, with modern offices, retail, food and drink outlets all in one place. Alongside this are modern gardens giving the site a unique feel.

As a Control Room Operative you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience. This role will be responsible for delivering the command-and-control function using control room systems, processes and procedures at any client based control room. You provide a proactive and effective security over watch of the assigned client buildings and public realm.

**A typical day in the life as a Control Room Operative**
- Support Broadgate and Wilson James by always delivering EDGE
- Deliver a professional command and control service
- Provide immediate support to Estate and Building Teams to mitigate risk.
- Trust you instinct and report anything suspicions, out of the ordinary or unusual.
- Manage contractor movement and be aware of work permits including lone worker supervision
- Manage control room-based keys and assets such as radios and equipment with MyTag
- Manage and ensure all lone workers are monitored and managed thoroughly throughout their shift

- Demonstrable and proven experience of working in a control room environment
- Have experience in dealing with multiple issues at once, prioritising and resolving problems
- Have experience in critical asset, crisis, and incident management
- Strong IT (Information Technology) Skills (Microsoft, Excel, Office 365, PowerPoint) with ability to use data to create reports and statistics
- SIA Licence
- CCTV Licence
