**Residential Support Worker - Bolton Greater Manchester**

**39 Hours per week
- Permanent Position**

Home Comforts Services is looking for a dedicated **Residential Support Worker** to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional care and support, serving as a positive role model while addressing the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the children in our care.

We are committed to delivering the highest standards of care, placing children at the heart of everything we do. **Previous experience in residential childcare is highly desirable**, as it will help you excel in this role and provide the level of support our children need.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide support children’s daily routines, emotional well-being, and educational activities.
- Work in partnership with external agencies as part of a multi-agency team.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, reports, and care plans.
- Adhere to care plans and risk assessments
- Encourage and support young people to make positive life choices and work towards independence.
- Assist with household tasks, involving young people where appropriate.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience in residential childcare.**:

- **Must be at least 21 years of age.**:

- **Must hold a valid UK driving licence.**:

- **Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare/Children and Young People’s Workforce, or a willingness to work towards obtaining the qualification.**:

- **Excellent communication, written and IT skills.**
