**About the role**:
Working as a Children's Home Residential Support Worker, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood. Ideally You will need to have experience at working within a children’s residential support setting.

You will be expected to **develop and maintain effective, positive professional working relationships with relevant professionals and agencies** to meet the overall needs of the children in your care.

We are looking for someone who is committed, resilient and willing to work within a team setting in an environment which can be emotionally and physically demanding but is very rewarding.

**Essential**:

- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team and use initiative in highly demanding situations.
- To be able to work unsociable hours, including weekends, sleep & waking nights as required on a rota basis.
- Previous experience in a relevant care setting.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role which will require physical intervention.
- Positive attitude to constructive criticism and development and willingness to learn from colleagues and progression.

**Desirable**:

- Awareness of child protection & safeguarding.
- Basic knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
