**Full Time, Permanent Position (plus sleep ins)**

We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to take on the role of Senior Residential Support Worker for our beautiful and modern children’s residential home in Greater Manchester. This exciting role is your opportunity to be part of a brand-new provision, allowing you to take responsibility and a sense of pride and achievement in developing the provision and helping us to provide a high-quality service for children and young people.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be part of the management team, working alongside the Registered Manager, taking responsibility for leading a team and ensuring the young people in our home are receiving the best quality of care, in line with OFSTED regulations. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

- Leading a team of Residential support workers, modelling quality care and promoting development of all staff
- Carry out supervisions and appraisals
- Ensure all Ofsted regulations and policies/procedures are implemented and adhered to
- Support young people in all areas of their lives, including daily routines, emotional wellbeing and education
- Work as part of a multi-agency team with external agencies
- Ensure accurate record keeping, daily logs, report writing and care planning
- To follow the children’s care plans and risk assessments and carry out job role in accordance with Halliwell’s childcare policies and procedures at all times.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years experience within Residential Childcare
- Good knowledge of Quality Standards and OFSTED regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- UK Drivers Licence
- Level 3 or Level 4 in Residential Childcare/Children and young people’s workforce or working towards
- Strong communication skills
