DD, is a full-service supplier of dental supplies, equipment and business services in the UK. We currently supply over 12,000 UK practices and 6,000 medical beauty clinics and are rapidly expanding. We are the only company to offer an extensive range of specialist products, equipment and support services across both the dental & beauty markets in the UK and ROI.
Our teams are based at our central office in Witham Essex, Blackpool, Crumlin Ireland, and Stirling Scotland.
We are currently looking for our next ** to join our team at our Head Office in Witham, Essex.
**About the role**:
To ensure that all Mi-Tec customer work orders are booked in, processed, and invoiced each month. You will assume responsibility for sending repair packs to customers, filing of invoices, purchase order processing. An understanding of finance/accounting systems Sage and or similar is a requirement as well as a good telephone manner and problem-solving skills.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
- To ensure that all Mi-Tec customer orders are booked in and processed daily.
- To liaise with our team of technicians, ensuring that they have completed all relevant repairs and paperwork to enable you to invoice the customer.
- To dispatch repair packs to customers.
- To ensure that completed repairs are booked out, ready for collection by our courier.
- To become the key point of contact for Mi-Tec customers including corporates.
- Ultimately meet and exceed daily and monthly targets as implemented by the management team in accordance with the company business plan.
- Good knowledge of using the autoclave, distiller, compressor.
- To gain a full knowledge of allocating the post and booking jobs in and out on the system for both departments.
- To gain a full knowledge of completing/filing paperwork correctly.
- To gain some knowledge on purchase ordering.
- To be able to book purchase orders in and the allocate the stock into the correct locations.
- To gain knowledge on completing sales orders.
- To be the point of contact for all customers (My Dentist, Key Accounts, NHS, Highstreet)
- To gain some knowledge on equipment maintenance to the point of being able to advise customers of best practice over the phone.
- To be able to create new customer/supplier accounts
- Keeping up to date with all BER
- Keeping all key accounts customer lists up to date and work allocated correctly against these lists.
- To confidently liaise with suppliers with any queries or problems that occur.
**Skills Required**:
- Must be computer literate and have experience of SAGE or similar finance system
**Experience Required**:
- Previous experience in a customer services role is desirable.
**Qualifications Required**:
- 5 GCSE’s grades A* - C (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
