**Learning & Development Manager**

A superb opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager to join a global organisation based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

This is a newly created, solution focused role which offers variety, scope and the opportunity to really make it your own, with new ideas encouraged

You will work collaboratively with the HR team and management to ensure learning and development is prioritised and employees are provided with the support, tools and resources to accelerate their development.

**_Excitingly, one of the initial projects is to oversee the implementation and rollout of a new LMS system_**

In this evolving job, you can expect to be completing the following:

- Oversee the implementation and rollout of a new LMS system, becoming a super-user and advocate for the system post implementation.
- Line management responsibility of the Training Administrator.
- Review and management of training strategy, policies, procedures and processes.
- Ensure legal and internal compliance for all mandatory training courses.
- Planning and designing training programmes to suit each department's needs.
- Identifying training needs/skills gaps.
- Working collaboratively with management to ensure the companies legislative, mandatory and recommended training requirements are met.
- Reviewing current training methods and adapting these to become applicable in a virtual/digital workspace for employees working from home as well as onsite.
- Continually research methods and techniques in workplace training and remain up to date on developments.
- Work with managers to implement a dedicated training plan for each new employee or role joining the company or department.
- Plan and implement training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths, including charting a career path for each role.
- Establish a feedback method after the completion of training courses to determine the effectiveness of training strategies to the individual and the business.
- Reviewing and strengthening training partners.
- Conduct regular meetings with senior management to identify ongoing training needs.
- Prepare and present reports on training KPI's.
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on learning and development matters.
- Continual review of the training course library and sourcing new courses if required.
- Ad-hoc projects when required.

Learning, Training and Development experience is essential, with knowledge of using or implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) being desirable.

Awareness of legal training compliance within a manufacturing business would be useful as would experience in delivering training courses.

Strong communication, organisational and priortising skills are required for this multi-tasking role.

Ely, Cambridgeshire

**Hours**:
Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week

**Salary**:
